Elias arrumou o altar que estava quebrado
Arrumou a lenha e colocou ali a sua oferta
E por três vezes mandou que colocassem
Quatro cântaros de água sobre o holocausto
De maneira que a água corria sobre o altar
E ao redor dele
Então Elias clamando por fogo do céu dizia
Ó Senhor, Deus de Abraão, de Isaque e de Israel
Manisfeste hoje que Tu és Deus, e que eu sou o Teu servo
Responde-me senhor, responde-me
Para que este povo conheça O Deus de Israel
Então caiu fogo do Senhor e consumiu o holocausto
A lenha, as pedras e o pó
E ainda lambeu a água ao redor do altar
E todos quando viram, cairam prostrados e disseram
Só Senhor é Deus, só Senhor é Deus!
