Tristeza e pavor pra quem ficar
Notícias e manchetes no jornais
O rádio e a televisão no ar
Um acontecimento nunca visto
Em breve o mundo irá passar
Aquele que zombou e riu de nós
Desesperado, põe-se a perguntar
O que aconteceu à minha esposa?
No leito só ficou o seu lugar
Na Firma meu colega que era crente
Sumiu e ninguém sabe onde está
O filho não regressou para casa
O esposo desapareceu do lar
É tamanha a destruição
Desastres pela terra e no ar
Meu pai que anunciava o evangelho
De repente eu não o ouço mais falar
Mamãe que era crente me amava
Nem teve tempo para me abraçar
Os crentes cultuavam na igreja
Ficaram só os bancos no lugar
Nas conduções sumiram passageiros
E quem ficou não sabe explicar
Mas vai aparecer quem já foi crente
Só estes é quem poderão falar
O que vocês acabaram de ouvir
Eu mesmo já usei muito pregar
Fiquei porque desviei-me do evangelho
Arrependido posso afirmar
