pero nadie comprenda­a
el porqua de la agona­a que la estaba consumiendo

Que no que no, que no que no, ni el aguardiente ni el marrasquino

"¿Quian me compra este misterio,
adivina adininanza,

por quian sufre La Parrala?"

Dos hombres ria±eron una 'madruga¡'
dentro del 'cormao' donde ella cantaba
Y el que caya³ 'hera­o' dijo al expirar
"Por tu culpa ha 'sa­o' Trini La Parrala"

Los jueces al otro da­a
a la Trini preguntaban si a aquel hombre conoca­a
y la Trini contestaba
"Yo no le he visto en mi va­a ni sa por qua lo mataban"

Unos dijeron que sa­

They say La Parrala was from Moguer
Others claim she was born in 'La Parma'
But no one could really know
where Trini 'La Parrala' was from
The gossip said
that the first light of day
always found her drinking
but no one understood
why the agony was consuming her

Some said she knew
Others said she didn't
And, to say more, La Parrala just sang

That she doesn't, that she doesn't, neither brandy nor maraschino

Two men laughed one 'early morning'
in the 'cormao' where she sang
And the one who fell 'heroically' said before dying
"Because of you, Trini La Parrala has died"

The judges the next day
asked Trini if she knew that man
and Trini replied
"I haven't seen him on my way, I don't know why they killed him"
