Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem
O little town of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie!
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep the silent stars go by.
Yet in the dark streets shineth the everlasting light;
The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight.
For Christ is born of Mary, and gathered all above,
While mortals sleep, the angels keep their watch of wond'ring love.
O morning stars, together proclaim the holy birth!
And praises sing to God the king, and peace to all the earth!
How silently, how silently, the wondrous gift is giv'n!
So God imparts to human hearts the blessings of the heav'ns.
No ear may hear His coming, but in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive him still the dear Christ enters in.
O holy Child of Bethlehem, descend to us, we pray,
Cast out our sin, and enter in, be born in us today!
We hear the Christmas angels the great glad tidings tell.
O come to us, abide with us, our Lord Emmanuel!

Oh pequeño pueblo de Belén, ¡cómo te vemos tan tranquilo!
Sobre tu profundo y soñoliento sueño pasan las estrellas en silencio.
Aún en las oscuras calles brilla la luz eterna;
Las esperanzas y temores de todos los años se encuentran en ti esta noche.
Porque Cristo nace de María, y reúne a todos arriba,
Mientras los mortales duermen, los ángeles guardan su vigilancia de amor maravillado.
¡Oh estrellas de la mañana, proclamen juntas el santo nacimiento!
¡Y canten alabanzas a Dios el rey, y paz a toda la tierra!
¡Qué silencioso, qué silencioso, es el maravilloso regalo dado!
Así Dios otorga a los corazones humanos las bendiciones de los cielos.
Ningún oído puede escuchar Su venida, pero en este mundo de pecado,
Donde las almas humildes lo recibirán, el querido Cristo entra.
Oh Santo Niño de Belén, desciende a nosotros, te lo pedimos,
Expulsa nuestro pecado, y entra, nace en nosotros hoy!
Escuchamos a los ángeles de Navidad contar las grandes buenas nuevas.
