Nousta sain aamuun, lintujen lauluun,
Jumalan luomiskauneuteen.
Lauluista kiitän, aamuista kiitän,
Raikkaina kohtaan ne uudelleen.
Käy sadekuuro, auringon paisteen,
Kuin uutta luoden pinnalle maan.
Jäljissä Herran, kasteinen nurmi
Kauneinta kukkaa käy versomaan.
Luomisen aamun säteistä kiitän,
Kirkkaina vielä ne kimmeltää.
Aamuista kiitän, ylistän Herraa,
On uusi luomus päivä myös tää.
Rise to Morning
I rose to morning, to the birds' song,
To God's creation beauty.
I thank the songs, I thank the mornings,
Freshly I encounter them again.
Comes a rain shower, the sun's shine,
As if creating new on the surface of the earth.
In the Lord's footsteps, dewy grass
The most beautiful flower starts to bloom.
I thank the rays of the morning of creation,
Still shining brightly.
I thank the mornings, I praise the Lord,
This day is also a new creation.
