Einsamkeit
Ich schreibe meine eigene Geschichte
Und lebe nur noch nebenbei
Ich bin der einzige, der mich bemerkt
Und all die Stimmen, die zu mir sprechen
Sind nur die Echos meiner Sehnsucht
Machtlos begegne ich der Einsamkeit
Und machtlos zeige ich ihr mein Gesicht
Zerfallen in tausend Stücke
Krieche ich in tausend Richtungen
Und halte deine Hand nicht fest genug
In falsche Träume mich geflüchtet
Auf besetzte Plätze mich gesetzt
Suchte ich die Herrlichkeit der Zweisamkeit
Und fand nur die lächerliche Einsamkeit

I write my own story
And only live on the side
I am the only one who notices me
And all the voices that speak to me
Are just the echoes of my longing
Powerless I face loneliness
And powerlessly I show it my face
Falling apart into a thousand pieces
I crawl in a thousand directions
And don't hold your hand tight enough
Escaped into false dreams
Sat on occupied seats
I sought the glory of togetherness
And found only the ridiculous loneliness
