What if we had heard the warnings that were given in the beginning?
What if we had stopped, remembered everything that we had promised?
Did we wake too late to heed the call that brought us to our senses?
Could we have been saved, reversed the damage that we have inflicted?
Our world lies in ruins, shattered
And we are the only ones to blame
It is our pain, our grief, our shame
