Me olho no espelho e só vejo meus defeitos

What God Sees
I look in the mirror and only see my flaws
I see how far I am from the ideal, how dissimilar I am from the Father
I carry my burdens, I carry my pains
My scars clearly show how much I hurt myself, how much I injured myself
But God with His love lifted me up
With love He welcomed me and covered me with kisses
Because what God sees in me is the beauty of Jesus
It's the purity He has, it's the kindness that comes from Him
Because what God sees in me is not what I actually am
But it's what the cross proved I can be
In the one who bought me
I go out into Life
To the battles of my days
And the challenge is to be like He was
To only depend on God, to live in love
I ask every day for Him to be the guide
Put His Spirit in me
Make me capable to serve
And God with His love heard me
His grace surrounded me and covered me with kisses
