He aprendido de todo por lo q pase
me he caído mil veces y me levante
aprendí a valorar a las personas q
están vivas y no amarlas cuando ya no esten.
He tenido en mis manos las mujeres q
casi siempre en mi cama he querido q estén
he probado de muchas su boca de miel
y de tantas q tuve estoy sola otra vez.
Y me mata esta soledad pero pensándolo bien
creo q es mejor seguir solo otra vez
y no tener q pensar en aquellas q ame
porq se q jamas a mi volverán.
Por muchas prometí no portarme mas mal
abandonde los amigos, el whisky y el azar,
fueron tantas la veces q me enamore
pero son bien contadas cuál me supo querer.

Better to Be Alone
I have learned from everything I went through
I have fallen a thousand times and got up
I learned to value the people who
are alive and not to love them when they are gone.
I have had in my hands the women who
I almost always wanted to be in my bed
I have tasted the honey of many of them
and of the many I had, I am alone again.
And this loneliness kills me but thinking about it
I believe it's better to be alone again
and not have to think about those I loved
because I know they will never come back to me.
For many I promised not to misbehave anymore
I left behind friends, whiskey, and chance,
so many times I fell in love
but few are the ones who knew how to love me.
