El Machete Y El Tejano
De la sultana del norte el viento trae un corrido
Donde cuentan que el machete con el tejano a perdido
Y al partido del machete... bastante les ha dolido
En la unión americana y en todo méxico entero
Ya se sabe que el tejano es un cuato muy ligero
Que vino y robo al machete... el 24 de enero
El machete ya tenia 22 triunfos al hilo
Pero se le llego el día en que se le acabo el filo
Por que el tejano venia... para acabarle el corrido
Mas de 5.000 testigos en la pista se encontraban
Querían saber si el tejano era como lo pintaban
Por que al famoso machete... no cualquiera le ganaba
Cuando se abrieron las puertas se oyó el grito de la gente
Cuando cruzaron las metas el moro ya iba en el frente
Hubo gente que lloraba... la derrota del machete
Cuando quieran la revancha con gusto han de concederla
Que se haga en la misma pista también en la misma tierra
Y la cifra del dinero... en donde quieran ponerla.

He came and stole from the machete... on January 24th

They wanted to see if the Tejano was as good as they said

When the doors opened, the crowd let out a cheer
When they crossed the finish line, the gray horse was in the lead, clear
There were folks crying... over the machete's defeat
Whenever they want a rematch, they’ll gladly agree
Let it happen on the same track, in the same territory
