The Prophet

Los Huracanes del Norte

El Profeta

Dicen que en una remesa
llego a San Diego de Arabia
de los criaderos mas finos
de los Muro y los Audalas
de gran prestigio en el mundo
del medio oriente hasta el Asia.

Desde que nació el potrillo
tenia un color muy bonito
era entre zaino y oscuro
mas bien un color retinto
lo sacaron por Tijuana
lo llevaron a Hermosillo.

Lo subieron a la sierra
para iniciar su aventura
gano Babiacorayuepa
Arizpe y en Moctezuma
al alas al mas ligero
de los caballote Osuna.

Gano por todo el país
y la unión americana
al regresar a Hermosillo
gano al venado de Kansas
al que siguió mucha gente
porque con el no arriesgaban.

Dicen los grandes expertos
de mente conocedora
que media doce cuartas
de la crin hasta la cola
el ejemplar mas bonito
que ha conocido Sonora.

Unas fiestas de diciembre
lo suben a Zahuaripan
donde conoció a su madre
ya que no la conocía
su dueño Jorge Rivera
la tenia muy escondida.

Amarraron la carrera
para un trece de diciembre
siempre tiraba a rajar
el dueño del medio oriente
voy mi hacienda los capomos
contra todo lo que tienes.

Jorge la acepto la apuesta
porque nunca se rajaba
pero al abrirse las trampas
su yegua se adelantaba
y así llego hasta el cabresto
nunca perdió la ventaja.

Le llamaban el profeta
por venir de tierra santa
nunca pensó que en la sierra
una yegua le ganara
menos la baya de Jorge
con la que cuidaba vacas

The Prophet

They say that in a shipment
he arrived in San Diego from Arabia
from the finest breeding
of the Muro and Audalas
of great prestige in the world
from the Middle East to Asia.

Since the colt was born
he had a very nice color
it was between bay and dark
more of a dark color
they took him through Tijuana
to Hermosillo.

They took him to the mountains
to start his adventure
he won in Babiacorayuepa
Arizpe and in Moctezuma
to the lightest winged
of the Osuna horses.

He won all over the country
and in the United States
when he returned to Hermosillo
he beat the Kansas deer
which many followed
because they didn't want to risk against him.

The great experts say
with knowledgeable minds
that he measured twelve hands
from mane to tail
the most beautiful specimen
that Sonora has known.

During December festivities
they took him to Zahuaripan
where he met his mother
whom he didn't know
his owner Jorge Rivera
had her well hidden.

They set up the race
for December thirteenth
he always aimed to win
the owner from the Middle East
with my ranch Capomos
against all you have.

Jorge accepted the bet
because he never backed down
but when the gates opened
his mare took the lead
and so she reached the finish line
never losing the advantage.

They called him the prophet
for coming from the Holy Land
he never thought that in the mountains
a mare would beat him
especially Jorge's bay
with which he herded cows.
