engañados como el hombre
los animales despiertan
con gritos
de dueños de la selva.

La anaconda sin saberlo
reposa el oco de otras eras
y en los pantanos oscuros
se festejan las bodas
de todas las aguas puras.
Las hojas de día sueñan

The anaconda unknowingly
rests in the hollow of other eras
and in the dark swamps
the weddings are celebrated
of all the pure waters.
The leaves dream during the day
the song of other lives
cicadas clearly repeat
the night that the world was made.
