El cheque
Despues de cambiar el cheque, me fui para una cantina
para aventarme unos tragos
estaban unos mariachis, sin sombrero y con huaraches
cantando el Juan Charrasqueado.
detras de la barra estaba una chamaca muy guapa
que se me quedo mirando
a las primeras de cambio, le dije como me gusatas
no me andes alborotqando.
Me dijo yo no alboroto y si te miro deveras
es porque tu me has gustado
le dije si eres sincera y desde luego soltera
pa pronto nos amarramos.
Esa noche fue parranda, pero parranda deveras
porque andaba alborotado
tomamos toda la noche, cantamos con el mariachi
tambien el juan charrasqueado
Otro dia por la mañana cuando ya voy despertando
con una cruda espantosa
a la orilla de la cama estaba la cantinera
diciendo " yo soy tu esposa"
tenia un papel en la mano, con letra y puño firmados
en donde yo la aceptaba
aqui me tienen ahora, estoy todito amolado
por causa de una parranda.

That night was a real party, a true party
Because I was all stirred up
We drank all night, sang with the mariachi
Even Juan Charrasqueado.
Another day in the morning when I'm waking up
With a terrible hangover
At the edge of the bed was the cantinera
Saying 'I am your wife'
She had a paper in hand, with writing and signatures
Where I accepted her
Here you have me now, I'm all messed up
Because of a party.
