El Poste
Son las seis, salgo del trabajo
me dirijo a tomarme un cafe
tomo un taxi colectivo
y al pasar por un hotel le vi salir con el
Apresuradamente me baje
y me quede
parado en un poste fume
un perro llego y me ladro
llorando estire la mano
y el perro me la lamio
y me quede
hacerme disimulado, hacerme wey
y regrese
al mismo poste fume, fume y fume
hasta que el perro
voltio me vio y se fue
voltio me vio y se fue
The Pole
It's six o'clock, I leave work
head to grab a coffee
I take a shared taxi
and as we pass by a hotel, I saw her leaving with him
Hastily, I got off
but I couldn't catch the car she got into
It's ten, maybe she's already home
but today I won't make it
The streets are so sad
I still can't believe it, but I saw her with him
I didn't notice what car it was
or jot down the license plate number
and I stayed
standing by a pole, smoking
a dog came and barked at me
crying, I reached out my hand
and the dog licked it
and I stayed
standing by the pole, crying
crying and smoking, and the poor dog
stayed by my side
It's eight in the morning
I didn't make it to work
the traffic is jammed
everyone's running senselessly, where will I go
I feel like forgiving her
going incognito, playing dumb
It's noon
I sat on the sidewalk
there I thought it's not possible
to share my bed with her, I won't go back
let her stay with the guy from the car she left with
I didn't even jot down the license plates anyway
and I walked
away from that pole
the dog also followed me
playing with my hands, it took away the anger
and I returned
to the same pole, smoking, smoking, smoking
until the dog
turned, looked at me, and left
turned, looked at me, and left
