Penumbra
Como en un vislumbrante atardecer el sol se oculta
Allá en la lejanía del cenit en inmensurable
Sin que nadie jamás pueda seguir su larga ruta
Se disipa en destellos y parece dilatarse
Y al regresar de nuevo con el alba mañanera
La esfera terrenal deja sentir un suave encanto
Las aves y los árboles en dulce primavera
Entonan al creador cantos de amor, himnos y salmos
Unámonos también, en dulce canto
De alabanza y loor a nuestro Salvador
Quien su vida entregó por rescatarnos
Del suplicio de la condenación
En dislocada espera del Señor estemos siempre

As in a dazzling sunset the sun hides
