The Privilege

Lucas Roque e Gabriel

O Privilégio

O que Deus me deu é meu
Nem venha tentar roubar de mim
Ele me deu, meu Pai me deu

Fez de mim a sua essência
E teve muita paciência ao me ensinar
Tudo que Ele ia me dar

Tive que correr atrás, tive que sofrer demais
Pra então eu dar valor ao que Ele ia me dar
Sofri demais pra eu então ganhar

O privilégio de lhe adorar
O privilégio de lhe exaltar
O privilégio de ser seu amigo
E Ele estar comigo pra me ajudar

O privilégio de poder sentir
O privilégio de poder lhe ouvir
O privilégio de saber que um dia
Ele morreu por mim

E ainda me prometeu
Que pro céu eu vou subir
Que privilégio, que privilégio

Fez de mim a sua essência
E teve muita paciência ao me ensinar
Tudo que Ele ia me dar

Tive que correr atrás, tive que sofrer demais
Pra então eu dar valor ao que Ele ia me dar
Sofri demais pra eu então ganhar

O privilégio de lhe adorar
O privilégio de lhe exaltar
O privilégio de ser seu amigo
E Ele estar comigo pra me ajudar

O privilégio de poder sentir
O privilégio de poder lhe ouvir
O Privilégio de saber que um dia
Ele morreu por mim

E ainda me prometeu
Que pro céu eu vou subir, eu vou subir

Não há o que comparar, preço nenhum pode comprar
Eu me asseguro nisso, jamais vou negociar
O que Deus me deu é meu, ninguém vai tomar

O privilégio de lhe adorar
O privilégio de lhe exaltar
O privilégio de ser seu amigo
E ele estar comigo pra me ajudar

O privilégio de poder sentir
O privilégio de poder lhe ouvir
O privilégio de saber que um dia
Ele morreu por mim

E ainda me prometeu
Que pro céu eu vou subir
Que privilégio

The Privilege

What God gave me is mine
Don't even try to steal from me
He gave me, my Father gave me

Made me his essence
And had a lot of patience in teaching me
Everything He was going to give me

I had to run after, I had to suffer too much
So then I could value what He was going to give me
I suffered too much so I could then gain

The privilege of worshiping you
The privilege of exalting you
The privilege of being your friend
And you being with me to help me

The privilege of being able to feel
The privilege of being able to hear you
The privilege of knowing that one day
He died for me

And he promised me
That I will go up to heaven
What a privilege, what a privilege

Made me his essence
And had a lot of patience in teaching me
Everything He was going to give me

I had to run after, I had to suffer too much
So then I could value what He was going to give me
I suffered too much so I could then gain

The privilege of worshiping you
The privilege of exalting you
The privilege of being your friend
And you being with me to help me

The privilege of being able to feel
The privilege of being able to hear you
The privilege of knowing that one day
He died for me

And he promised me
That I will go up to heaven, I will go up

There is nothing to compare, no price can buy
I assure myself of this, I will never negotiate
What God gave me is mine, no one will take

The privilege of worshiping you
The privilege of exalting you
The privilege of being your friend
And you being with me to help me

The privilege of being able to feel
The privilege of being able to hear you
The privilege of knowing that one day
He died for me

And he promised me
That I will go up to heaven
What a privilege
