She had lived through the wars

She didn't wanna go through it all again

She has seen injustice

She has seen corruption

She has seen racism

And any other kind of suffering

Then she said to me

Son, is this the end of suffering?

Is this freedom?

Elle a vécu à travers les guerres

Elle ne voulait pas tout revivre

Elle a vu l'injustice

Elle a vu la corruption

Elle a vu le racisme

Et toute autre sorte de souffrance

À laquelle tu peux penser

Puis elle m'a dit

Fiston, est-ce que c'est la fin de la souffrance ?
