Eu vejo Deus no sorriso da criança
Vejo Deus na beleza das manhãs
Vejo Deus no cantar dos passarinhos
Quando voltam para o ninho expressando sua paz
Eu vejo Deus na poesia do poema
Vejo Deus no cantar de uma canção
Vejo Deus ao nascer a primavera
Vendo a flor que não se gera, mesmo assim eu vejo Deus
Eu vejo Deus sobre o verde que se vai
Numa folha quando cai, e se perde pelo chão
Eu admiro Deus em sua posição
Mais que a rainha de Sabá admirava Salomão
Eu vejo Deus ao olhar pro universo
Grandes mistérios fizeste com suas mãos
Pois este Deus da poeira esquecida
Fez o homem e deu vida, e ninguém nota que é do chão
A gente vê esse Deus em cada vida
Em cada vida que vive em união
Ele está junto ao necessitado
E aquele que é guiado por não ter sua visão
Eu vejo Deus sobre o verde que se vai

I see God in the child's smile
I see God in the beauty of the mornings
I see God in the singing of the birds
When they return to the nest, expressing their peace
I see God in the poetry of the poem
I see God in the singing of a song
I see God at the dawn of spring
Even seeing the flower that doesn't bloom, I still see God
I see God above the fading green
Like a leaf when it falls, and is lost on the ground
I admire God in his position
More than the Queen of Sheba, she admired Solomon
I see God when I look at the universe
You have performed great mysteries with your hands
For this God of forgotten dust
He created man and gave him life, and no one notices that he is from the ground
We see this God in every life
In every life lived in unity
He is with those in need
And he who is guided by not having his vision
I see God above the fading green
