Certa vez um pastor no caminho passou
Mui aflito a pensar
Sua igreja era fria
Sua alma vazia não tinha o que dar
Encontrou um guri, trabalhando a sorrir
Ajoelhado no pó, um banco ofereceu, e o guri respondeu

Esta voz ecoou
E bem alto falou, o pastor refletiu
Todo o dia passou, quando a noite chegou, foi deitar não
Dormiu
Procurou esquecer para adormecer, mas foi sempre pior
Parecia ainda ouvir o garoto a dizer de joelho é

Na alegria ou na dor, sempre orar ao senhor

Foi então que o Senhor bem claro lhe falou
Que devia orar
E a orar começou, e o Senhor o ajudou a reconciliar
Sua igreja que estava sem luz, não brilhava
Tornou-se um farol!
Ele alegre viveu depois que entendeu

Esta história eu ouvi, e assim compreendi

Kneeling is Better
Once a pastor passed by on the road
Very distressed, thinking
His church was cold
His empty soul had nothing to give
He found a boy, working and smiling
Kneeling in the dust, offered a seat, and the boy replied

This voice echoed
