Éramos célebres líricos, éramos sãos
Lúcidos céticos, cínicos não
Músicos práticos, só de canção
Nada didáticos, nem na intenção
Tímidos típicos, sem solução
Davam-nos rótulos, todos em vão
Éramos únicos na geração
Éramos nós dessa vez
Tínhamos dúvidas clássicas, muita aflição
Críticas lógicas, ácidas não
Pérolas ótimas, cartas na mão
Eram recados pra toda a nação
Éramos súditos da rebelião
Símbolos plácidos, cândidos não
Ídolos mínimos, múltipla ação
Sempre tem gente pra chamar de nós
Sejam milhares, centenas ou dois
Ficam no tempo os torneios da voz
Não foi só ontem, é hoje e depois
São momentos lá dentro de nós
São outros ventos que vêm do pulmão

Lucid skeptics, not cynical
Practical musicians, only of song
Nothing didactic, not even in intention
Typical shy, with no solution

We were unique in the generation
It was us this time

Logical criticisms, not acidic
Great pearls, cards in hand
They were messages for the whole nation
We were subjects of rebellion
Placid symbols, not candid
Minimal idols, multiple action
There's always people to call us
Be they thousands, hundreds or two
Tournaments of the voice remain in time
It wasn't just yesterday, it's today and tomorrow
They are moments inside us
They are other winds that come from the lungs
And gain colors in the height of the voice
And those who live will see
We were serene in a fast world
