Pedradas eu sofri em minha vida
Aumentando as feridas
Fez sangrar meu coração

Quanto mais pedras jogavam
Um grande monte se formava
Dificultando ainda mais o meu viver
Sozinho, solidão era insistente
E eu não entendia

Resposta logo o Senhor me deu

Que pedradas recebi
Grande foi minha surpresa
Quando olhei-me no espelho
Marcas nenhuma vi
Ao chegar perto de Deus
O Senhor me restaurou

Não me destruiram

Que tornou-se um grande monte
Hoje serve para outros

Por isso modelei nele a escada

A huge pile formed
Making it even harder to live
Alone, loneliness was persistent
And I didn’t understand
Why this happened to me
The Lord soon gave me an answer
The stones that made this mountain

The Lord restored me
