One day I thought the world had stopped

I looked in the mirror and saw who I had become

What seemed like the end became a new beginning

I won’t look back anymore
The future is where my peace is

It just transformed, and my heart grew
I thought that longing would hold me back
But it showed me what it means to cherish
The scars I bear remind me of who I am

Today are the answers that help me grow
