Construir uma casa do zero é muito mais fácil
Do que pegar uma estrutura já pronta e ter que reformar
Mas sei que é necessário, mude o que é pra ser mudado
Tem muita coisa errada aqui pra consertar
A obra vai ser demorada e difícil, eu sei
Mas essa reforma vai Te colocar aqui dentro outra vez

Meu alicerce foi danificado
E o telhado tá todo rachado
E a encanação onde passa a água
Tá velha, tá ruim, tá toda quebrada
Já não existe mais a fiação
Tá sem energia, sem manutenção
Começa urgente essa reforma em mim
E as portas da casa e até as janelas
Estão destruídas, elas já não fecham
E isso facilitou pra o inimigo
Roubar minha coroa, salvação em risco

The Renovation
Building a house from scratch is way easier
Than taking an existing structure and having to renovate
But I know it’s necessary, change what needs to be changed
There’s a lot wrong here that needs fixing
The work’s gonna be slow and tough, I know
But this renovation will bring You back inside me again

My foundation’s been damaged
And the roof is all cracked
And the plumbing where the water flows
Is old, it’s bad, it’s all broken
There’s no wiring left
It’s out of power, no maintenance
This renovation in me needs to start urgently

Are destroyed, they don’t close anymore
And that made it easy for the enemy
To steal my crown, salvation at risk
From now on, Jesus, I surrender

But how many times have I neglected this privilege
Not fixing the cracks

With the absence of Christ in my house, I got comfortable
I let the dirt in, look where I’ve ended up
But it’s not irreversible, with this renovation it’s still possible
For Jesus to dwell here inside me again
Establish my foundation in Your word
And let my faith rebuild my roof
Urgently fix the plumbing
Bring the water of life to my heart
Jesus, please, replace the wiring
So that the light returns to my heart
So I can discern what comes from the dark
Let the doors and windows of my soul
Be restored with vigilance
And let prayer reinforce the security
So the thief doesn’t steal my inheritance
I give You control of everything, then
