Aquí me puse a vivir
Con mi sapa y mis sapitos
En este aljibe infinito
Cuanto más fijo mejor
Que al sapo muy picaflor
Lo cazan como chorlito
Yo nací en una laguna
Y mi cuna fue de lodo

Me puede desmerecer

Renacuajos somos todos
A este fondo lo rodé

Quieto y con economía

Cuando suena la roldana

Pero más sabe por rana

Profundo como carozo
