No mar da galiléia com seus discípulos Jesus entrou
Como havia paz na poupa do barco Jesus se deitou
E da luta cansado, ficando deitado se pôs a dormir
Levantou-se a tempestade com veracidade
Os quis submergir
Chega Tiago me ajuda a remar
Disse João vendo a fúria do mar
E todos ali começaram a lutar
Mas Pedro animado a Jesus foi chamar
Pedro chegando a Jesus Disse bom
Mestre vem nos valer Vem senhor tu és forte
Nos livra da morte com o seu poder
E Jesus levantando, foi logo mandando
E o mar se aquietou
E disse com muita bondade
Não temais e verdade que aqui eu estou

Se no mar desta vida
Estas naufragando sem o Salvador
Lembre que hoje tu estás
Sem Deus e sem paz, mas com o tentador
Aquele anjo cruel descendo do céu
Enganou a Adão
Tem prazer com a maldade
Pois a iniquidade só traz perdição

In the sea of Galilee Jesus entered with his disciples
How peaceful it was in the stern of the boat where Jesus lay down
