This is me, i write the songs
I try to be right more than i'm wrong
I play the game, albeit not that well
I've done some things of which i'll never tell
When things are good i stay the same
When things get bad, i don't complain
I may not be all that you hoped i would be
But i am just me
I come up short all over town
Sometimes i'm up, sometimes i'm down
When i give back i take a little for myself
I'm just like anybody else...
I play the fool, have but one vice
I am not always very nice
I live my life on stage, on cue
I do the things i have to do
Of this i'm sure, life can be shit
I wouldn't change one day of it
I may not be all that you hoped i would be
I know i'm not the best you'll ever see
