Now here's what we, this is where it's at
This is the thing of this gig
And here's, here, I'll tell you about it now
Uh, a while ago, Alan Kooper, my friend, called me on the phone and said
Let's make this gig an LP in Los Angeles
And we'll jam together and we'll see what will happen
So we went and I played and I played for one day with Alan in the studio
And I split and went back to San Francisco where I live
And uh, and the other day Stephen Stills played and they put out an album called Super Session
And then Alan said: Okay, that's a groovy thing, let's uh, play uh, the Super Session
Let's, you know, do a session and play somewhere
So I said: Alright man, now this is exactly what's going into this thing I'll tell you now
Now we played together once on the uh
Lp session that was the one time and then we practiced together three days the four of us
That's John Kahn and Skip Prokop and Alan and I've jammed with John a few times never with Skip
Alan I guess has played with Skip never with John and we all together we play like four days
And so it's half a session you know half a session because we're gonna jam because you know what the
Hell how much do we know
And the other half is numbers, but I want you to know, like
This is the truth of where we're playing, so now you know where it's at
