The first Noel the angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds
In fields as they lay
In fields where they lay
Keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night

They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the East beyond them far
And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night

And by the light of that same star
Three wise men came from country far
To seek for a King was their intent
And to follow the star
Wherever it went

This star drew nigh to the northwest

Right over the place where Jesus lay

And found the Babe in poverty

Then entered in those wise men three
Full reverently upon their knee
And offered there in His presence
Their gold, and myrrh and frankincense

Fue a ciertos pobres pastores

Miraron hacia arriba y vieron una estrella

Y por la luz de esa misma estrella
Tres sabios vinieron de lejos

Esta estrella se acercó al noroeste
Sobre Belén tomó su descanso
Y allí se detuvo y permaneció
Justo sobre el lugar donde yacía Jesús

Entonces supieron con certeza
Dentro de esa casa yacía el Rey
Uno entró entonces para ver
Y encontró al Niño en la pobreza

Con toda reverencia de rodillas
Y ofrecieron allí en Su presencia
Su oro, mirra e incienso

Cantemos alabanzas a nuestro Señor celestial
Que ha hecho el cielo
Y la tierra de la nada
Y con Su sangre
Ha comprado a la humanidad
