There was a boy
A very strange
Enchanted boy
They say he wandered
Very far, very far
Over land and sea
A little shy
And sad of eye
But very wise was he

And then one day
A magic day
He passed my way
And while we spoke
Of many things
Fools and kings
This he said to me
"The greatest thing
You'll ever learn
Is just to love
And be loved in return"

Un garçon enchanté
On dit qu'il errait
Très loin, très loin
À travers terre et mer
Un peu timide
Et triste des yeux
Mais il était très sage

Et puis un jour
Un jour magique
Il est passé par ici
Et pendant qu'on parlait
De tant de choses
Des fous et des rois
Il m'a dit ceci
"La plus grande chose
Que tu apprendras jamais
C'est juste d'aimer
Et d'être aimé en retour"
