In the desert we cultivate
Battles filled with the wine of holy hate
Kill the ones who don't agree with us,
Shoot them down and strip them of their pride
Lo! a war cry in the distance
–drawing nearer is the enemy
Prepare for divine retribution

Swimming in the sand with the snakes
Locusts will swarm over the earth
As the bombs rain over baghdad
In the desert we seek the prize:
Oil richer than our leader's lies
Pretense of deadly weapons
Existing only in our feeble minds
Rushing to the scene of total war
Lives lost and senseless gore

In the great sand dunes,
People are filled with hate and bigotry
Seeking a target for their violence
Never-ending dissent on both sides
