I can take from it, what I want
The situations that keep coming up
My head's spinning, like a whirlwind inside
A mess of confusion, only one wrong and right
Waves of wisdom crashing into the shore
As I lay down on my ocean floor
What's mine is mine
What's yours is yours
The rest is left up to the maker of the world
It's a little bit of this
And a little bit of that
God gives me what I need to stay on track
I am tempted and I never get a break
But God won't give me something I can't take!
But all I want, is for them to see
What is real life and then eternity? (That they'd live to see etеrnity)
Your time alive, it can not compare
To thе time with God
We're gonna spend up there!
Yeah, it's a little bit of this
And a little bit of that
God gives me what I need to stay on track
I am tempted and I never get a break
But God won't give me something I can't take!
Everybody wants to quit and go home
Everybody wants to be alone
Everybody wants to feel sorry
For themselves
Nobody wants to see the return
Everybody wants to live their lives
I'm sick and tired of this
Complacency!
But all I want, is for them to see
What is real life and then eternity? (That they'd live to see eternity)
