Às vezes eu estou em guerra, mas eu tenho que cantar
Às vezes eu quero ouvir, mas Deus me usa para falar
Tem dias que o peito aperta, só dá vontade de chorar
Mas não desisti, eu vou até o fim, daqui a pouco eu chego lá
Sou um ser humano cheio de defeitos
Mas Deus é perfeito e vai me ajudar
Tenho meus conflitos, erros e acertos
Mas há uma promessa e não posso parar

Quem me vê cantando não entende a dor
E as guerras que tenho que enfrentar
Pois muitas vezes o que eu canto é para ajudar alguém a se levantar
Mas eu confesso nem sempre eu tô bem

Que o meu hoje não significa nada perto do que Deus fará
