On the first part of the journey I was looking at all the life

After two days in the desert sun my skin began to turn red
After three days in the desert fun I was looking at a river bed
And the story it told of a river that flowed
Made me sad to think it was dead

Au début du voyage, je regardais toute la vie
Il y avait des plantes, des oiseaux, des rochers et des trucs
Il y avait du sable, des collines et des anneaux
La première chose que j'ai rencontrée était une mouche qui bourdonnait
Et le ciel sans nuages
La chaleur était brûlante et le sol était sec
Mais l'air était plein de sons

C'était bon d'être à l'abri de la pluie

Après deux jours sous le soleil du désert, ma peau a commencé à rougir
Après trois jours de fun dans le désert, je regardais un lit de rivière
Et l'histoire qu'il racontait d'une rivière qui coulait
M'a rendu triste de penser qu'elle était morte
