Aquela imagem de um homem acabado
Ensanguentado pendurado numa cruz
Que todo povo fica olhando emocionado
E enganado todos dizem que é Jesus
O meu Jesus é o Deus da Glória e majestade
Sabe tudo, tudo pode, tudo vê
Só Jesus Cristo é a única verdade
Jesus te ama, e ele quer salvar você.
Aquela imagem na parede lá da sala
Que tem boca, mas não fala, que tem olhos, mas não vê
Aquele quadro na parede empoeirado
É só um homem pintado, não faz nada por você
Jesus está vivo, Jesus é vencedor
Jesus é meu Salvador
Há dois mil anos Cristo está ressuscitado
E tanta gente ainda tem Cristo na cruz
Meu Jesus Cristo é um Deus glorificado
Seu Santo Espírito me guia me conduz

It has a mouth, but it doesn’t speak, it has eyes, but it can’t see
That dusty painting on the wall
Is just a painted man, doesn’t do anything for you
Jesus is alive, Jesus is the winner
Jesus is my Savior
For two thousand years Christ has risen
And so many people still have Christ on the cross
My Jesus Christ is a glorified God
His Holy Spirit guides me, leads me.
