I wrap my arms around this megalomania
Eyes froze in headlights
So close but always this distance
Between living, and just surviving
Two times I climbed this mountain
Nothing between and nothing's forgotten
This time I said to the skyline
Just you and me man, its just you and me
I place my world in a basket
Full of strides and full of wishes
Two times should be enough for me to deflate
But I'm not relating

Just in case it tries to slip away
How tightly am I gripping, am I slipping
What's the answer
I've got stars in my eyes
I've traveled all the side roads
Leads me to some sort of station
Should I've been a lifetime younger
Lifetimes older, what's the meaning
