You've Got To Learn
You've got to learn to show a happy face although you're full of misery
You mustn't show a trace of sadness and never look for simple things
You've got to learn although it's very hard the way(?) you pocket in your pride
Sometimes face humiliation while you're burning up inside
Facing reality is often hard to do when it seems happiness is gone
You've got to learn to hide your tears and tell your heart life must go on
You've got to learn to leave the table when love's no longer being served
To show everybody that you're able to leave without saying a word
You've got to learn to hide your sorrow and go on living as before
But good is thinking of tomorrow
Who knows what it may have been stored?
You've got to learn to be much stronger the times your head must rule your heart
You've got to learn from hard experience and lisen to advice
And sometimes pay the price and learn to live with a broken heart

Faire face à la réalité est souvent difficile quand le bonheur semble s'être évaporé
Tu dois apprendre à cacher tes larmes et dire à ton cœur que la vie doit continuer
Tu dois apprendre à quitter la table quand l'amour n'est plus servi
Pour montrer à tout le monde que tu es capable de partir sans dire un mot
Tu dois apprendre à cacher ta peine et à continuer à vivre comme avant
Mais le bien, c'est de penser à demain
Qui sait ce que l'avenir nous réserve ?
Tu dois apprendre à être beaucoup plus fort quand ta tête doit gouverner ton cœur
Tu dois apprendre par l'expérience et écouter les conseils
Et parfois payer le prix et apprendre à vivre avec un cœur brisé
