Jesus Calms the Storm

Ninfa e Calita

Jesus Acalma a Tempestade

O vento soprava lá no alto mar
Um homem dormia na poupa do barco
As ondas subiam o vento soprava
Os discipulos aflitos a Jesus gritou

Acorda Jesus o vento assopra
As ondas furiosas as aguas levantam
Acorda Jesus vem nos ajudar
As ondas furiosas quer o barco afundar

Jesus no barquinho no meio das aguas
Bem calmo e sereno o vento ordenou
Aquieta-te vento, acalma-te agua
E naquele momento tudo se calmou

Se Cristo no barco da vida está
Não temas, pois ele que te ajudar
Se as ondas te assustar confia somente
Basta calmemente seu nome gritar

Jesus Calms the Storm

The wind was blowing out on the high sea
A man was sleeping at the stern of the boat
The waves were rising, the wind was blowing
The disciples, distressed, cried out to Jesus

Wake up Jesus, the wind is blowing
The furious waves are rising
Wake up Jesus, come help us
The furious waves want to sink the boat

Jesus in the little boat in the middle of the waters
So calm and serene, he commanded the wind
Be still, wind, calm down, water
And at that moment everything calmed down

If Christ is in the boat of life
Do not fear, for he is here to help you
If the waves scare you, just trust
Simply shout his name calmly
