Cada uno se siente orgulloso del lugar donde nace
Es la fuerza que hace que a mi región yo abrase
Por eso me nace, encima de esta base, hacerle un homenaje

Pero te aseguro que es lejos de los recursos del pueblo
Por eso damos uso a los naturales
Recursos rurales para alimento nutritivo
Porque los formales no son muy bien adquiridos
Y dañinos para el ser vivo
Llamada santa María, pero olvidada por la alcaldía
¿Será por la lejanía? O no hay recursos de economía
Aquí luchamos para que avancemos, no pa' que quedemos
Rezagados a lo que vemos. Entonces juntos cambiemos
Las necesidades que agotan porque si se afrontan
Se irán desvaneciendo hasta que se botan
Tenemos que fijarnos bien en las acciones anteriores
Si queremos que los futuros sean ya mejores

But I assure you it's far from the town's resources
That's why we make use of what nature provides
Rural resources for nutritious food
Because the formal ones aren't well acquired
And they're harmful to living beings
Called Santa Maria, but forgotten by the city hall
Is it because of the distance? Or is there no economic resources?
Here we fight to move forward, not to be left behind
Stuck in what we see. So together let's change
The needs that drain us because if we face them
They'll fade away until they're gone
We need to pay close attention to past actions
If we want the future to be better
Today we learn from our mistakes
