O Santo Espírito desceu do Céu
Em plenitude de poder
E o Pentecostes fez brilhar a luz
E multidões puderam crer
Fiéis em Cristo, sem qualquer temor
Saíram todos a pregar
E conseguiram, mesmo em luta e dor
Final vitória conquistar
Ó Deus bendito, hoje também
Vem conceder-nos
Tua graça e Teu poder

Vem Tua Igreja aqui reavivar
Só pela fé o justo vai viver
Na Bíblia vamos encontrar
Jesus, portanto, nos dará poder
Devemos crer e confiar
Os que esperam sempre no Senhor
Paz e alegria hão de achar
Receberão de Deus constante amor
E graça pra testemunhar

The Holy Spirit descended from Heaven
In fullness of power
And Pentecost made the light shine
And crowds were able to believe
Faithful in Christ, without any fear
They all went out to preach
And they managed, even in struggle and pain
To achieve final victory
O blessed God, today as well
Come grant us
Your grace and Your power
Here is our prayer: Come near
Come revive Your Church here
Only by faith the righteous will live
In the Bible we will find
Jesus, therefore, will give us power
We must believe and trust
Those who wait upon the Lord
Will find peace and joy
They will receive constant love from God
And grace to testify
