To get into the meditative state
Is to begin
By listening
If you simply close your eyes and allow yourself to hear
All the sounds that are going on around you
Just listen to the general hum and buzz of the world
As if you were listening to music
Don't try to identify the sounds you are hearing
Don't put names on them
Simply allow them to play with your eardrums
Don't judge the sounds
There are no as it were proper sounds nor improper sounds
It's all just sound
As you hear sounds coming up in your head
You simply listen to them as part of the general noise going on
And soon you will find
That the so-called outside world
And the so-called inside world come together
I want you to listen to the sound of my voice
Just as if it were noise
Don’t try to make any sense out of what I'm saying
Because your brain will take care of that automatically
You don’t have to try to understand anything
Just listen to the sound
As you hear sounds coming up in your head
You simply listen to them
As part of the general noise going on
And soon you will find
That the so-called outside world and the so-called inside world
Come together
They are a happening
And everything is simply a happening
And all you are doing is watching it!

Der einfachste Weg
In einen meditativen Zustand zu gelangen
Ist zu beginnen
Indem du zuhörst
Wenn du einfach deine Augen schließt und dir erlaubst zu hören
All die Geräusche, die um dich herum geschehen
Hör einfach dem allgemeinen Summen und Brummen der Welt zu
Als würdest du Musik hören
Versuche nicht, die Geräusche zu identifizieren, die du hörst
Gib ihnen keine Namen
Lass sie einfach mit deinem Trommelfell spielen
Urteile nicht über die Geräusche
Es gibt keine sogenannten richtigen oder falschen Geräusche
Es ist alles nur Klang
Wenn du Geräusche in deinem Kopf hörst
Hör einfach zu, als wären sie Teil des allgemeinen Lärms
Und bald wirst du feststellen
Dass die sogenannte Außenwelt
Und die sogenannte Innenwelt zusammenkommen
Ich möchte, dass du der Stimme meiner Stimme zuhörst
So als wäre es Lärm
Versuche nicht, einen Sinn aus dem zu machen, was ich sage
Denn dein Gehirn kümmert sich automatisch darum
Du musst nichts verstehen
Hör einfach dem Klang zu
Wenn du Geräusche in deinem Kopf hörst
Hör einfach zu
Als wären sie Teil des allgemeinen Lärms
Und bald wirst du feststellen
Dass die sogenannte Außenwelt und die sogenannte Innenwelt
Zusammenkommen
Sie sind ein Ereignis
Und alles ist einfach ein Ereignis
Und alles, was du tust, ist, es zu beobachten!
