Larga Distancia

Vengo remando, de larga distancia,
nadie me espera llegar, no tengo esperanza;
solo me banco, contra la corriente,
todos intentan zafar, es elocuente.

Por qué siempre debo remar,
contra la corriente;
quizás porque me quiera alejar
de toda esa gente.

La superficie se encuentra tranquila,
miro las plantas crecer desde mi guarida;
sigo remando, me siento seguro,
veo la puesta del Sol, detrás de esos muros.

Nadie me ve pasar, pero es importante,
que sepan que soy el mismo de antes.

Solo me banco, contra la corriente,
todos intentan zafar, es elocuente.

Por qué siempre debo remar,
contra la corriente;
quizás porque me quiera alejar
de toda esa gente.

De toda esa gente...
de toda esa gente...

Long Distance

I’m paddling in from far away,
nobody’s waiting for me, I’ve got no hope;
I’m just holding on, against the current,
everyone’s trying to break free, it’s clear.

Why do I always have to row,
against the current;
maybe it’s because I want to get away
from all those people.

The surface is calm,
I watch the plants grow from my hideout;
I keep paddling, I feel secure,
I see the sunset, behind those walls.

No one sees me pass, but it’s important,
that they know I’m still the same as before.

I’m just holding on, against the current,
everyone’s trying to break free, it’s clear.

Why do I always have to row,
against the current;
maybe it’s because I want to get away
from all those people.

From all those people...
from all those people...
