Castelo forte é nosso Deus
Amparo e fortaleza
Com seu poder defende os seus
Na luta e na fraqueza

A nossa força nada faz
Estamos, sim, perdidos

A mighty fortress is our God
A shield and a stronghold
With His power He defends His own
In struggle and in weakness
Satan tempts us

But our God brings help
And we are protected
Jesus defends us
He who conquered on the cross
The Lord of the highest heavens
And being God as well

If demons unnumbered
