Green Machine Legacy
The sound of my John Deere, old war machine
Green and roaring loud, breaking the silence of the Texas plains
I take my coffee, kiss my loved ones tight
And head to work, in the fields where I find my delight
My children love this life, just like me
They're learning the ways of a good harvest, soon to be under their command, they'll see
And it's beautiful to see them eager to work alongside me
And drive the green machine, together we'll reap what we sow, you'll see
Life in the country is simple, yet full of meaning
We find our peace, in the silence of the fields
And when the Sun sets on the horizon, we feel like we're home
And we know we'll return, to the fields, tomorrow
Life in the country is full of significance
Every farmer's surname is patience and faith
For we know well that planting without certainty of harvest
Is a matter of humility, it's simply having faith
And God has honored me, with each harvest I've made
And I thank Him, for each day that I'm alive

El sonido de mi John Deere, vieja máquina de guerra
Verde y rugiente, rompiendo el silencio de las llanuras de Texas
Tomo mi café, beso a mis seres queridos con fuerza
Y me voy a trabajar, en los campos donde encuentro mi alegría
A mis hijos les encanta esta vida, igual que a mí
Están aprendiendo las formas de una buena cosecha, pronto estarán al mando, lo verán
Y es hermoso verlos ansiosos por trabajar a mi lado
Y manejar la máquina verde, juntos cosecharemos lo que sembramos, lo verás
La vida en el campo es simple, pero llena de significado
Encontramos nuestra paz, en el silencio de los campos
Y cuando el sol se pone en el horizonte, sentimos que estamos en casa
Y sabemos que volveremos, a los campos, mañana
La vida en el campo está llena de importancia
El apellido de cada agricultor es paciencia y fe
Porque sabemos bien que sembrar sin certeza de cosecha
Es una cuestión de humildad, es simplemente tener fe
Y Dios me ha honrado, con cada cosecha que he hecho
