María abrazaba fuerte al niño que había dado a luz
Iba al templo a dedicarlo y su nombre era Cristo Jesús
Y cuando entraron al templo Simeón de gozo gritó
Sus ojos volvieron a ver y llorando proclamó
¡Mis ojos han visto en su rostro salvación
Estas manos han tocado la divina bendición
Mis oídos oyeron a Dios y Él no tuvo ni que hablar
Yo ya estuve en el cielo sin salir de este lugar
Yo también estuve ciego así como Simeón
Un día me hablaron de Cristo y lo invité a mi corazón
El también abrió mis ojos y de gozo puedo gritar
¡Jesucristo entró a mi vida y lo voy a proclamar!
