Noite, por que é que o tempo passa devagar
Só sei que a qualquer hora vem o sol
Temos ainda mais perguntas a fazer
Não sei se alguém irá nos responder
Eles dizem que o tempo, pode curar qualquer ferida
Cansei de esperar
Mas numa frase tão antiga
Já tantas vezes repetida, respostas encontrei
Entregar os meus caminhos ao Senhor
Confiar nele, e o mais Ele fará
É fácil de cantar, preciso aprender
Posso viver feliz
Talvez a vida nunca traga explicação
Mas Deus, em sua essência é amor
Quando bater no coração tão forte dor
Lembro, Deus tem uma grande obra em mim
Precioso é o tempo, mais do que qualquer conquista
Tem muito pra ensinar
E esse verdade tão antiga
Se for real em minha vida, vai devolver a paz

Night, why does time drag on so slow
I just know that the sun will rise any moment
We still have more questions to ask
I don’t know if anyone will answer us
They say that time can heal any wound
I’m tired of waiting
But in such an old phrase
Repeated so many times, I found my answers
I’ll give my paths to the Lord
Trust in Him, and He’ll take care of the rest
It’s easy to sing, I need to learn
I can live happily
Maybe life never brings explanations
But God, in His essence, is love
When pain hits my heart so hard
I remember, God has a great work in me
Precious is time, more than any achievement
It has so much to teach
And this truth so old
If it’s real in my life, it will bring back peace
