I recieved the ransom note two weeks yesterday,
I can't sleep at night, will she be okay.
Try and hold my head up straight, What am I gonna do?
Look into the rain at night but all I see is you.
I reach for the whiskey but all I see is water,
I hope she remembers all that i've taught her.
If I don't meet the deadline, then she's gonna leave us all,
And if its me or her, then its me that I wanna fall.
The drop-offs at 3 but they'll only be 1,
Give them the briefcase then the job in hand is done.
But then I'll get there and you'll find out it's not me,
And before you know, you'll be on the way to the sea.
