Eine Erinnerung an einen unvollkommenen Engel
Es ist neun Uhr, am Morgen.
Ich stehe aus dem Bett auf, mache ihm einen Kaffee.
Ich nehme eine Dusche und bereite ein Frühstück vor,
Doch er isst nicht, sitzt nur da und liest die Zeitung.
Ich habe versucht, mit ihm zu reden, aber er hatte nicht viel zu sagen.
Und dann habe ich ihm etwas Brot zugeworfen, aber er wollte nicht spielen.

Wenn ich der Himmel wäre, würde er nie wissen, dass ich traurig bin.
Sein Telefon klingelt, er schaut mich an und sagt: "Entschuldige mich."
Geht in den Raum, als ob er mich nicht einmal kennen würde.
Er kommt wieder raus, mit einem Grinsen im Gesicht,
Zieht sich an, ich sage: "Können wir heute etwas unternehmen?"
Er sagt: "Ich habe ein Meeting, es ist wichtig, ich kann es nicht absagen."
Ich sage: "Aber bitte, Schatz," er unterbricht mich und sagt: "Ich kann es nicht schaffen."
Er rennt zur Tür raus, fährt die Auffahrt runter, aber er hat seinen Koffer vergessen.

Ich überlege, ob ich seine Schranktür öffnen soll?
Wahrscheinlich Anrufe, gleich öffne ich seine Schranktür.
Sehe, was ich finden kann, und ob er mich betrügt.
Zuerst habe ich seine Taschen von seiner Anzughose bis zu seinen Jeans überprüft.
Es ist 6:30, ich höre ihn ins Haus kommen.
Ich schalte den Fernseher ein und setze mich auf die Couch.
Er kommt rein, nimmt die gleichen Klamotten, spricht, und geht dann wieder zur Tür raus.
Er sagt: "Ich habe ein Meeting, es ist wichtig, ich kann es nicht absagen."
Ich sage: "Aber bitte, Schatz--" er unterbricht mich und sagt: "Ich kann es nicht schaffen."
Dann verlässt er mich wieder, es bricht mir das Herz.
Dann hat er eine Karte fallen lassen..
