Podemos ser deixados de lado e desprezados
Mas suportaremos os nossos contratempos
Porque é no descaso,no abandono e desamparo
Que a força que nos move nos deixará mais fortes
Porque Deus recupera os cacos
E une os pedaços dos corações quebrados
E se mantém fiel ao nosso lado
E tece nos fracassos nós que fortalecem nossos laços
E exalta o humilhado, oprimido e rejeitado

Podemos estar fracos, tristes ou cansados
Mas é na tristeza, no cansaço e na fraqueza
Que somos postos à prova
Que nosso vigor se renova
E em vez de ressentidos, derrotados e aflitos
Ficaremos bem e dando glórias
Mesmo em meio ao desdém
Assim como nós Jesus sofreu também
Mas na alma afligida que não desanima
Toda ferida cicatriza

And joins the pieces of broken hearts
And remains faithful by our side
And weaves in failures the knots that strengthen our ties
And exalts the humiliated, oppressed, and rejected

We may be weak, sad, or tired
But it is in sadness, tiredness, and weakness
That we are tested
That our vigor is renewed
And instead of resentful, defeated, and distressed
We will be fine and giving glory
Even amidst disdain
Just as Jesus suffered as well
But in the afflicted soul that does not lose heart
Every wound heals
We may be left aside and disregarded
