Quantas vezes tive que perder a razão e aceitar ficar calada
Para não escandalizar, quantas vezes tive que abraçar quem me feriu
Mas nada disso me impediu do Senhor me abençoar

Nada nem ninguém conseguiu me deter
Quando chegou o tempo, a porta se abriu
Me atiraram pedras só pra me entristecer
Mas quanto mais atiravam mais sentir poder
E no meu deserto Deus abriu um rio
