Live in the Now (feat. Phontana)

Rei

Vivir el ahora (part. Phontana)

A ver, sentados (sentados)

Live in the Now (feat. Phontana)

Since life is only one, I learned to live in the now
The things that captivate me are the ones that shine on their own
Hey (hey)

The hunger for art I inherited from my grandpa
He taught me to need to say: What I recite
With his guitar he strums chords from up in heaven
How lucky that my little angel is a musician too
Today I'm gonna open my heart and let it show
Like a drunk on Rivadavia talking and being real
Lyrics with class like a rich kid dining at a spot
My poem is different, it’s so much that the rest can’t get it
I know life hit us hard, but it wasn’t the end
Since that day we became our own first aid kit
Your hugs compress, my words are a band-aid
We fight to avoid wounds like a paladin
The things that others don’t value, I want them from the start
Just imagine, you, the dogs, me, and some Mattioli
From start to finish let’s take Route 40
And at 50 let’s remember when at 30
We stumbled and the other was always by our side
We understood each other just by looking, without speaking
Today I’m grateful for what I wished to have created
And let my heart explode from love, not from getting old

Let’s see, sitting down (sitting down)
'Cause today I brought a poem worthy of having a thermos full beside it (beside it)
And don’t even get me started on dedicating it to a loved one
What’s genuine is the opposite of being fake

When the chat is special, the mate’s gone cold
If the looks say a lot, the man stays quiet
That one who sometimes blends in, it’s not that he’s scared
He developed the skill of being without being judged
There are many who have little and already act like they’re rich
Gold, rings but watch out, no shine, I’ve seen that before (I’ve seen that)
There are few who without having much, they really are
Or ask my dad fishing in Saladillo (in Saladillo)

Since life is only one, I learned to live in the now
The things that captivate me are the ones that shine on their own
Since life is only one, I learned to live in the now
The things that captivate me are the ones that shine on their own

Since life is only one, I learned to live in the now (ah, hey, again)
The things that captivate me are the ones that shine on their own (Phonty with the King, Phonty with the King, ah)
From the nearby west
Pouring feelings over a track
Today it’s Julián speaking, not the artist
I put my heart into all its edges
